In partnership with CafePress.com, ArtistsVillage has opened the ArtistsVillage CafePress Mall. The Mall will showcase individual CafePress Shops that will sell the merchandise of our member artists - like you! 

CafePress offers a unique and valuable service. They will create a custom online shop for you, and feature merchandise that bears the images that you choose. Those images can appear on clothing, calendars, high-quality poster board, and much more.

Best of all, it is completely free to you. You merely sign up for the service, upload your image or images, choose which products you want to sell, set the prices you want to charge, and then point potential customers to your personal CafePress shop. CafePress takes care of all order taking, manufacturing and shipping. Then they send you a monthly check for your profit on each item sold!

Where do we come in? The Artists Village CafePress Mall will showcase ArtistsVillage member CafePress shops on a special set of web pages. We will spend much time, money and effort to drive visitors to the Mall. So in addition to the visitors you generate through your own marketing efforts, there will be MANY additional visitors who see your CafePress shop in the Artists Village CafePress Mall - who will hopefully buy your products.

Special note to artists outside the U.S.: the CafePress service is open to artists all over the world - and customers can be in any country, too.

Here are the steps you need to follow:

1. Click on the banner below to learn more about the CafePress program.

2. You will see instructions there that tell you how to open your own CafePress shop. Important: make sure the referral code "p4a" appears in the form you fill out - this is required in order to participate in the Artists Village CafePress Mall.

3. Very important: once you have set up your CafePress shop (you must create some products with images first), send us an email at vikram@artistsvillage.com. Include in that email your CafePress url, which will look something like this:

http://www.cafepress.com/shopid

where "shopid" is the ID you enter when you create your shop. Also, tell us the name of your shop (can be anything - like "Linda Madriani's Gallery") that we will use when we provide a link to your Shop from our Mall.

Note: ArtistsVillage  and CafePress are two different companies. All questions related to your CafePress shop can be answered from their web site. While we will undertake marketing to send visitors to the Mall, and hence to your Shop, you have primary responsibility to ensure the success of your Shop through your own marketing efforts - promoting your Shop on your web site, for example.
